Scope of works: RJC Group were engaged by Richard Crookes Construction for the major restoration of Hinchcliff House & Gallipoli Memorial Club, at Circular Quay. The restoration included 8 façades, the stabilization of these façades and the removal and replacement of timber lintels to support façades as per the conservation requirements. This included the restoration of the sandstone façade as well as the supply and install of over 500 new sandstone pieces to all buildings. Given the age of the buildings, there was also the desalination process of the façades to remove salts and increase longevity and bring back the heritage fabric. RJC Group were also responsible for the removal of all lead paints as well as the supply and installation of new timber floors and windows.
