Scope of works: The scope of work consists generally of remedial stonework repairs to the sandstone façades and includes, but is not necessarily limited to: provision of all necessary scaffolding and hoarding; replacement of existing stones with new; careful dismantling and reuse of existing sandstone elements; indent repair of sandstone; mortar repair of sandstone; cleaning of sandstone, redressing and desalination of sandstone; repointing of sandstone; pinning and crack repair; removal of redundant fixings; installation of new lead weatherings; making good existing copper flashings; painting timber window frames.
