Scope of works: The Boy with Paddle Fountain (also known as the cherub fountain) is the first ornamental drinking fountain to be donated to and erected in a suburban municipality or a town in New South Wales.

RJC Group has undertaken important restorative work to help preserve this piece of public art.

What we have done:

  • Removal of cast iron components and treatment, gold leaf gilding of cherub with 24 carat gold leaf
  • Structural remediation and waterproofing works
  • Tiling and coping.
